Effect of composts based on sewage sludge and market gardening waste on the growth and yield of tomato

In urban and peri-urban areas, wastewater and sewage sludge are used without prior treatment to fertilise vegetable soils. To this end, sewage sludge treated with market garden waste was tested to evaluate the morphological performance and yield of tomatoes. Thus, the composts based on faecal sludge and market garden waste are T0, T1 and T2 (for respectively T0: composted faecal sludge alone, T1: compost with 2/3 faecal sludge and 1/3 market garden waste and T2: compost with ½ sewage sludge and ½ vegetable waste).

Mainstreaming person with disabilities in progress – Bangladesh context

Investigating the impact of blended learning using extempore and debate technique to enhance english speaking skills of grade six students: a study in trashigang middle seconday school

The study aimed to investigate the impact of blended learning on students’ speaking skills of EFL learners through debate and extempore technique. The study used quasi-experiment which consisted of pre-observation, intervention and post observation. The total of 20 girls and 22 boys studying in grade 6 has participated in the study. The control group received traditional methods of instructions in English session whereas the experimental group received blended learning in special classroom. Both the groups were tested for their speaking skills before and after the intervention.

Agro-morphological characterization for leaf-spot resistance of some local peanut ecotypes (arachis hypogaea l.)

Subject description: Groundnuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) occupy an important place in traditional farming systems. However, yields in dry African savannas are less than one ton per hectare in extensive cultivation. These low yields are due, among other things, to precarious rainfall conditions, to the low distribution of improved varieties, but also to the non-development of local plant potential. In fact, compared to local cultivars, very few studies have been made.

Standardization of lower limb's range of motion for healthy Egyptian subjects

Background: In the last years there were a huge differences in the ADL life style within Egyptian citizens by using transportation rather than walking, preferring to resting rather than moving and making sport. These changes in life style may reflect on the lower limb range of motion. Purpose:To have a standard normal value for lower limb's range of motion for Egyptian subjects. Materials and methods: 1000 normal Egyptian male and female subjects aged between 21 and 50 years, free from any conditions cause limitation joint mobility, enrolled in the study.

Didactic strategy inthe teaching-learning process of differential calculation with the use of geogebra mathematical assistant in the 12th grade at polytechnical institute of administration and management of zaire

This article presents the results of a research carried out on the use of GeoGebra Mathematical Assistant in the teaching-learning process of differential calculus. This content deals with variation, movement, quantities that change and depend on other quantities, being considered by manypeopleasone of the great achievements of the human intellect. Differential calculus has a derivative concept considered fundamental for its study, as it is a linear operator, which forms a new function from the original, in which each point of the new function is the displacement of the original one.

Pulsed electromagnetic field versus pulsed ultrasound in treatment of mechanical neck pain: rct

Mechanical neck pain (MNP)affects approximately two thirds of the population in the middle age due to poor postural habits. Purpose: to compare the effect of pulsed electromagnetic field versus pulsed ultrasound on pain intensity, cervical range of motion and functional restriction in treating patients with MNP. Design: randomized controlled trial. Methods: 45 patients with MNP participated in this study.
