Head trauma and post traumatic epilepsy – a radiological study

Introduction: India went through a phase of massive urbanization, industrialization and motorization. In relation to motorization one of the problems is head injury. Imaging tests help in determining the diagnosis and prognosis of a traumatic brain injury patient. One of the common sequelae of head trauma is seizures. About 25% of patients with brain contusions or hematomas and about 50% of patients with penetrating head injuries will develop seizures. These seizures occur within first 24 hours of head injury.

Statistical analysis of students’ academic performance in nigeria universities: a case study of the university of ibadan, nigeria

This paper is a study of students’ academic performance in the University of Ibadan. It was discovered that certain number of students who were admitted into the University, for the attainment of a degree, were unable to meet the requirements to be able to graduate on time. A situation where some students have to study longer than the four- year term is undesirable and should be checked.

omparison of explosive power and sprinting performance of rural and urban boys and girls

The aim of this study was to compare explosive power and sprinting performance between rural and urban elementary school boys and girls in tamilnadu. The sample consisted of 3000 (1500 urban and 1500 rural; Age 10.3 ± 0.42 years) boys and 3000 (1500 urban and 1500 rural; Age 10.3 ± 0.43 years) girls with no medical history of disease. Volunteers were recruited randomly from selected schools in ten municipal corporations of Tamilnadu. Urban and rural schools were selected randomly.

Decompositions of m(1,2)*-Continuity

In this paper, we introduce and investigate the notions of α -sets, semi- open sets, pre-open sets. Then we also introduce the notions of α-continuous mappings, semi-open continuity. Using these concepts we Obtain decompositions of - continuity. Also we investigate some properties and characterizations of these kind of sets with some theorems, examples and counter examples.

Productivity enhancement with lean concepts in belt driven compressor industry

Productivity has been an important concern to all the manufacturing industry. Lean manufacturing emerged as production strategy capable of increasing productivity by identifying and eliminating non value added activities. This article deals with productivity improvement in a Compressor manufacturing industry with a case study using lean concepts with the use of Process flow chart and Time study. The data are collected and analyzed with the use of lean tools namely Value stream mapping, 5S principle, Poka-yoke, Assembly line balancing and Layout design.

Solving fuzzy transportation problem using symmetric triangular fuzzy number

The transportation problem is one of the earliest applications of linear programming problems. In the literature, several methods are proposed for solving transportation problems in fuzzy environment but in all the proposed methods, the parameters are normal fuzzy numbers. In this paper, a general fuzzy transportation problem is discussed. In the proposed method, transportation cost, availability and demand of the product are represented by symmetric triangular fuzzy numbers. We develop fuzzy version of Vogel’s algorithms for finding fuzzy optimal solution of fuzzy transportation problem.
