A study on social engineering attacks: phishing attack

Recently, with the development of digital technology and the spread of the social media network and made the communication of human beings between each other more easily, but with the put the personal information and private evidence and the participation of others via the Internet, it causes a great danger that this information can be exploited and collected, and from this a new concept called social engineering has spread that is the attackers or whoever wants Damage to people searches and collects personal and confidential information to penetrate and cause harm to the victim.

Household hazardous waste management: a review

Household hazardous waste is hazardous waste generated by households in relatively small quantities (between 1% and 4% of municipal solid waste) and containing toxic or labeled toxic, flammable, reactive, explosive or corrosive chemicals such as automobile products, cleaning products, personal care products, maintenance products, unused medications, insecticides, garden pesticides, products containing heavy metals, photographic chemicals. Many of these wastes are regulated at the industrial level in larger quantities.

Erector spinae plane block a trend that must be reviewed

The blockage of the erect muscle fascia (ESP) of the spine is a relatively recent technique that was first described by Forero et al. In September 2016. It has applications in the control of chronic pain with neuropathic component of the thoracic wall, where its original usefulness is born in metastatic rib disease and a defective bonding pathology of multiple coastal fractures. Recent anatomical and radiological research into corpses indicates that the likely site of action for such blockage is in the dorsal and ventral branch of the thoracic spinal nerves.

Tracing distributed denial of service attacks from practical perspectives

Denial of service attack was a stretch of Distributed Denial of Service Attack (DDoS). DDoS comes the largest security risks and problems facing Internet users. This risk affecting obstruct with work of any system of targeted organizations, which leads to the harassment of system customer. This attack succeeds by exploiting several weaknesses to access resources in the target organizations. The attacker exhausts all capacity of resources in a period short time. The previous method leads to the denial of using any organization's resources from any authorized user.

Study of the solar drying of bovine meat: drying kinetics and temperature profiles in a mixed tunnel solar drier

This work concerns an experimental study of beef drying with a mixed tunnel solar dryer with forced convection. Drying experiments were carried out at the Centre for Study and Research on Renewable Energies (CERER). The evolution of air and product temperatures as a function of irradiance and the position of the racks was studied, as well as the effect of treatment and air temperature on drying speed. The experimental curves presented in terms of reduced moisture content as a function of drying time are approximated by mathematical models of existing drying kinetics.

A review on facts devices in power system for stability analysis

In the last few years, power demand has increased substantially while the expansion of power generation and transmission has been severely limited due to limited resources and environmental restrictions. As a consequence, some transmission lines are heavily loaded and the system stability becomes a power transfer-limiting factor. Flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS) controllers have been mainly used for solving various power system steady state control problems. Flexible AC transmission systems or FACTS are devices which allow the flexible and dynamic control of power systems.

Coincidence and fixed points via multivalued mappings on partial metric spaces

In this paper, we prove coincidence and common fixed point theorems for two pair of multivalued and single valued mappings in complete partial metric spaces. These results improve, extend and generalize the corresponding results in the literature. Moreover, an example is provided to illustrate the usability of main results.

Impacts of smartphone addiction on academic performance of students in senior secondary schools in lagos state

Smartphone addiction could be described as smartphone mismanagement, mishandling and misuse. It is also being fuelled by the fear of being without a mobile phone for certain number of hours. It is a non-chemical addiction that is been driven by an Internet overuse problem thereby becoming a destructive behaviour. Smartphone addiction has the capacity to negatively affect an individual in his/her physical and mental health, relationships, productivity and academic performance.

Enchancing life span of battery pack using a novel battery balancing technique

Large battery packs composed of Lithium-Ion cells are continuously gaining in importance due to their applications in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and smart energy grids. To ensure maximum lifetime, safety and performance of the battery pack, complex embedded system architectures consisting of sensors, power electronics and microcontrollers are integrated into the pack as Battery Management System (BMS).Active cell balancing is a recently developed method that reduces losses by reducing the hardware components and providing more software control.

Effect of intermittent sitting on range of motion of prolonged standing low back pain

Background: most persons will experience acute low back pain during their lifetime. The first epi¬sode usually occurs between 20 and 40 years of age. Objectives: to investigate the effect of intermittent sitting on the lumbar range of motion of prolonged standing low back pain developers. Methods: 60 subjects participated in this study. They were randomly distributed into two equal groups; group I involved 30 subjects were stood for 15 min. and sit for 5 min. Group II involved 30 subjects where stand for 30min and sit 10 min throughout the workday for 8 hours.
