Objective: The prevalence of thyroid dysfunction in patients with type 1 diabetes is two to threefold higher than in the general population and occurrence of thyroid dysfunction is often diagnosed late in type 1diabetic population. Our aim is to determine the natural history of thyroid dysfunction in Indian patients with type 1 diabetes. Methods: Sixty type 1 diabetic patients were recruited in the study from the diabetic clinic attached with S.P. Medical College, Bikaner.

Objective: To examine depression level of women diagnosed with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and to compare these with glucose-tolerant (GT) women at similar stages of pregnancy. Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis L.) is an important medicinal plant in herbal medicine. The main constituent of the essential oil of the plant is citral (geranial and neral), citronellal and geraniol. Lemon balm has been traditionally used for different medical purposes as tonic, antispasmodic, carmiative, diaphoretic, surgical dressing for wounds, sedative-hypnotic strengthening the memory and headache. Lemon balm is also used as flavouring in ice cream and herbal teas, often in combination with other herbs such as spearmint. It is also frequently paired with fruit dishes or candies.

Dyke- Davidoff- Masson syndrome [DDMS] is a rare clinical entity characterized by seizures , facial asymmetry, contralateral hemiparesis and mental retardation. The radiological features are cerebral hemiatrophy with homolateral hypertrophy of skull and sinuses. We are reporting a case of DDMS in a 2 years old female child who presented with right sided weakness , occasional episodes of seizures and delayed milestones.

Background: Stein-Leventhal syndrome, also called polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrinopathy that affects women.Has been one of a major public health problem in Sudan that leads to medical consequences. It causes multifactorial in etiology such as menstrual dysfunction, hyperandrogenism, hirsutism, insulin resistance (IR), dyslipidemia and obesity which increased risk of diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular disease. We know that if patients with PCOS are screened for these diseases, many long-term complications can be prevented.
