Self-confidence of senior secondary school students of shimla district

This study was conducted to study the self-confidence of senior secondary school students of Shimla district. Sample of the study consisted of 200(100 of each stream as well as area) school students on which Agnihotri’s Self-Confidence Inventory (ASCI) constructed by Dr. Rekha Agnihotri was administered. For the analysis and interpretation of of data the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was applied and‘t’ test was used where required. School students not differed in self confidence w.r.t. their gender and area. School students differed significantly in self confidence w.r.t. their stream.

Audit conflict: a case of iranian auditors ability to resist client pressure in a conflict situation

Auditors’ role is governed by their relationship with the client’s management, especially in the context of a conflict, where they might be forced to compromise their respective stance. However, auditors are expected to remain independent in the event this occurs.  A survey questionnaire was used to examine whether or not Iranian auditors are likely to accede to the clients’ request in a conflict. The results indicated that Iranian auditors tend to remain independent in the face of conflicts or pressure from clients.

Assessment of islamic banks profitability ratios-evidence from jordan

This study aimed to identify and compare the financial performance of all full-fledged Islamic banks operating in Jordan, in relation to profitability. Data has been retrieved from the financial annual reports for 2011 and 2014. As 2011 was the first full year of two Islamic banks, namely, Jordan Dubai Islamic banks, and Al-Rajhi Islamic Bank. Illustrious profitability ratios analysis had been applied with descriptive and inferential statistics for analyzing the results.
