Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a common chronic inflammatory disease affecting over 4,00,00,000 people in the world. RA is associated with significant morbidity including pain and disability. It does not just affect synovial joints but is a systemic disease affecting other organs. It is also associated with increased mortality.

Infrastructural development like building schools, vocational training centres, clinics and hospitals is one of the mandate of Rural District Councils (RDC) in Zimbabwe. They should also construct and repair roads as well as provide the much needed facilities for orphans, vulnerable children and the elderly. This study, therefore, sought to explore solutions tothe challenges in the provision of such service by the Nkayi Rural District Council with a view to capacitate the council staff.

Bhava is the first point of origin and development of embryo and fetus. Bhava (shadbhava) works as biological factors that able to determine the qualities of the offspring. About the detail of Bhava was richly found in Samhitas but the application how it works has to be understood as its working area is not as per modern parameters. In today’s era we have genetics and chromosomes that work on development of embryo in detail and their growth are also dependent on genes.

Hemorrhoids (arsha) are one of the most common problem of the anal region, affect as much as half of the population. Suffering from hemorrhoids is not only painful but embarrassing as well. Hemorrhoids are swollen, dilared veins and capillaries around the anal region. They may be classifies as either internal or external. Many not only know how to relief hemorrhoids but how to relief fast and naturally.

Aerva lanata (L.) root of the family Amaranthaceae is a Indian medicinal plant used traditionally for the management of Raktavikara, Sopha (Sotha), Dusta Vrana. The drug Gorakṣagañja is a good diuretic and the roots are given in dysuria (mūtra krichhra) and calculus (aśmari) (Halliwell, 2008). It is used for alleviating diseases caused by kapha and vāta doṣ. The roots are used (particularly in southern India) as an effective diuretic drug specially for calculus, as substitute or a source plant of Pāṣāṇabhēda.

Food fermentation has a long tradition of improving the safety, shelf life and acceptability of foods. However, some notable outbreaks of food borne illness associated with fermented foods have occurred. The efficiency of one of the most common Sudanese fermentation methods of millet flour, using Dura (Sorghum) starter, in a preparation of hygienic millet starters for the production of indigenous foods was investigated. Two millet starters, Wad Ashana (pH 3.96 at 35.2°C) and Sudan II (pH 4 at 35.2 °C) were traditionally prepared.

Our work is closed to the framework of the good management for the Afenourir’s lake (Morocco), and its biodiversity, for its restoration and maintenance of all kinds of anthropic activities (overgrazing, pumping, etc.). It consists of the analysis and identification of the floristic biodiversity of lake during the period April-June 2015 in order to study its quality. Indeed, floristic species play a major role in the production and protection of soils against erosion, as well as maintaining substrate and the balance of the aquatic ecosystem, and can also be bioindicators of pollution.

Background: India’s first nationwide thyroid health study, “The Thyroid Environment is the most Epidemiological study” revealed that 10% of the population suffers from Hypothyroidism. Drug-based treatments do not cure the condition, but palliate it, supplementing missing thyroid hormones. In contrast, Äyurveda treats the disease as an imbalance, prescribing diet and lifestyle modification, Ähära-Vihära, for its management. Here we report a case-series study of 13 hypothyroidism patients treated by Ähära-Vihära along with fresh herbal juices (Rasähära), and Yoga.

Identifying the resistant genotypes is one of vital strategies to control Fusarium stalk rot disease in maize. Twenty-four maize inbred lines were evaluated for resistance to stalk rot caused by Fusarium verticillioides at Crop Research and Development Institute (CRDI), Vietnam Nation University of Agriculture (VNUA) during the spring of 2016, and their QTL resistance were also studied at the molecular level using SSR maker with two specific primers reference from Jun-Qiang Ding et al, 2008 reported to avoid environmental effects in the JICA laboratory, VNUA, Vietnam.

Background: The usage of tablet or media tablet computers have become a viable consumer alternative to traditional notebook (laptop) and desktop computing modes. The light weight of the tablet makes it with the users everywhere and so the users spend many hours using it. Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the effect tablet use on muscle performance of wrist and elbow and the effect of period of tablet usage.
