This study was conducted to determine the Effect Of Quake Device Training On Enhancement Of Drainage In Patients With Chronic Bronchitis. Subjects: Forty patients from both sexes (22 women and 18 men )were diagnosed clinically according to GOLD 2016 have moderate (GOLD 2) COPD with age ranged from 40-60years enrolled in the study. They were chosen from outpatient clinic of chest department in Internal Affairs Police Hospitals. Methods: They were assigned into two groups equal in numbers.

Objective: To assess the internet addicted teenagers’ parents’ awareness about positive and negative impact of internet use. Methods: A survey was conducted to find out the parents’ awareness about positive and negative impact of internet use by distributing a questionnaire to the parents of those teenagers already identified as internet addicted.

The prevention and management of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) remains a challenge. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of prophylactic cryotherapy on taxol- induced neuropathy.

The study explored gender and locus of control as a comparative study of adolescent substance abuse in Awka Metropolis. Total number of one hundred and fifty-three (153) secondary school students in Awka metropolis; served as participant for the study. 61 (39.9%) were females while 92 (60.1%) were boys. Simple random sampling technique was used to select the secondary schools and the participants. Their ages comprised 11 to 18 years with a mean age of 14.86 years and standard deviation of 2.28.

Introduction: High opening injection pressure (> 15 psi) can detect needle - nerve contact. However, the reliability of injection pressure monitoring to detect needle – nerve or impingement may be affected by syringe size. We hypothesized that monitoring of opening injection pressure (the pressure at which injectate is detected by US) is affected by the size of the syringe used for injection. Methods: After Ethics Commitee approval, 22 gauge 50 mm needles were inserted under US to contact the C5, C6 and C7 nerve roots of fresh human cadavers.

The present study evaluated the antiemetic effects of midazolam an ondansetron for preventing post operative nausea and vomiting in middle ear surgeries. Material and Mehods: After attaining approval by ethical committee of the institute, 105 patients were randomly divided into three groups (35 patients of ASA I and II physical status in each group).

Background: Previous studies have revealed that incentive spirometer has an effect on oxygen saturation, highlighted in many researches, however there is a lack of literature concerning its effect on renal failure patients in intensive care unit. Purpose of the Study: to find out the effect of incentive spirometer on oxygen saturation in patient in ICU. Subjects and Methods: Forty male patients with renal failure grade II were selected from intensive care unit department, El-Fayoum General Hospital and El-Fayoum university Hospital.

Aim: To assess the Peak Expiratory Flow Rate in Indian Female Classical Singers. Need of study: As singers have better respiratory fitness there is need to see whether the peak expiratory flow rate in them is also higher, lower, or the same. Whether, the singing which is an expiratory activity affects expiratory flow rate. Study Design: Cross Sectional Study. Procedure: Ethical approval was taken. Total 101 Indian female classical singers were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Informed consent was obtained.
