Manejo anestésico en tumor supratentorial

El espacio supratentorial contiene la porción cerebral localizada por encima de la cubierta de duramadre conocida como tienda del cerebelo.Existen diferentes mecanismos de compensación que intentan mantener la PIC en rangos normales ante el crecimiento de un tumor supratentorial.Al agotarse los mecanismos de compensación, el tumor ocasiona cambios en la PIC, incluso con el más mínimo crecimiento. El desplazamiento del tejido cerebral es la base de los síndromes de herniación representando el estadio final de los procesos de compensación.

Background: Despite progressive development in dental sub-specialties and, an increase in the number of oral and maxillofacial surgeons in Nigeria, there were few studies done to report the pattern of maxillofacial surgeries done especially in the Northwestern region. Effect of autogenic relaxation training combined with aerobic exercise on postmenopausal hypertension and stress

Objectives: This study was conducted to determine if autogenic relaxation training combined with aerobic exercise have more effect than aerobic exercises alone on postmenopausal hypertension and stress.
