Against the backdrop of New Liberal Arts development, this study centers on transforming Understanding Contemporary China: A Chinese-English Translation Textbook into "learning-oriented materials". Utilizing test questions from the Translation section of the "FLTRP Cup National Foreign Language Proficiency Competition for University Students", it tested 67 students at R University and analyzed their translations.

The global increase in bacterial resistance poses a significant threat, jeopardizing the effectiveness of antibiotics. Therefore, the development of new and efficient antimicrobial agents is pre-dominant. Taking this into consideration, in the present study, we designed and reported the facile synthesis of two novel series benzothiazole–triazole and thiazolidinone-appended benzothiazole–triazole hybrids using a molecular hybridization approach in a one-pot process. The synthesized compounds were tested for microbial growth inhibition against bacterial and fungal strains.

This case report describes the management of a lumbar spine injury using Kati Basti, Matra Basti and Abhyanga. Spinal injuries often lead to low back pain, radiculopathy, and varying degrees of motor or sensory loss in the lower limbs. Ayurvedic therapies, especially Basti and Abhyanga, are commonly used for conditions driven by aggravated Vata. A 32-year-old male presented with acute lumbar pain radiating to both lower limbs after trauma. He had reduced motor strength, sensory deficits, and difficulty walking.

La región alfalfera del Valle del Mezquital en el Estado de Hidalgo, México, está teniendo problemas importantes en su productividad, debido a que la vida útil de la pradera se reduce como consecuencia de la presencia de la arvense Parthenium hysterophorus. Esta planta con efectos alelopáticos provoca la muerte de matas de alfalfa cuando están en competencia. Se han buscado alternativas diferentes para el control de la arvense, desde métodos químicos, físicos y biológicos.

En 1939, Mère Eugenia débarqua sur l’Île Désirée, un village lépreux bâti en 1912. Les conditions difficiles dans lesquelles se trouvaient les lépreux l’emmenèrent à entreprendre la construction d’un village pour lépreux à Adzopé. La Léproserie d’Adzopé ouvrit ses portes en 1942 et était à la charge de la Congrégation Notre Dame des Apôtres. En 1945, les Attiés exigèrent sa délocalisation à cause de sa proximité avec la ville. Un nouveau site trouvé à 15 km de la ville, la nouvelle léproserie s’ouvrit en 1950 grâce à la contribution financière de Raoul Follereau.

The present study of Dicoma tomentosa has been discussed with their habit, habitat, flowering & fruiting, taxonomic enumeration, nativity and physiographic position. The floristic account reveals that occasional threatened distribution of this species found few districts of Uttar Pradesh and dealing as becomes vulnerable species. The specimen deposition of this species which assist its future purpose.

Contamination in drinking water affects society and the phenomenon becomes a global problem. Some contaminants are general and some depend on the geographical location. The extent of the contamination also depends on geographical location. Fluoride is such a contaminant presence of water causes Fluorosis. The maximum permissible limit of fluoride in drinking water is 1.5 mgL-1. Endeavors are going on in chemical Laboratories stored throughout the globe for defluoridation of drinking water and several such procedures have been developed and recommended.

The study focused on the comparative determination of the effects of the combination of leaf extracts of Carica papaya (CP) and Vernonia amygdalina (VA) and Artemether-based combination therapy (ACTs) on Plasmodium berghei infected male wistar rats. Fifty (50) male wistar rats, weighing 100 to 150g, were allotted into 5 groups (n=7). Group 2 (negative control) was infected but not treated, groups 3-5 which were infected received 250mg/kg b.w each of CP and VA in combination and 4mg/kg b.w of the two reference ACTs.
