On 27 July 2022, Great White Egret (Ardea alba) nests were observed at the main entrance area of Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary, Gujarat, marking it as the first recorded occurrence of this species in the region. The bird, identified based on its distinct morphological features, was photographed and compared with standard literature for confirmation. The species was then observed continuously every year since 2022. This sighting highlights the importance of Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary as a potential habitat for migrating and nesting birds.

Red pigment with a simple molecular formula (C40H56), as a good antioxidant is beneficial for human health. This research represents the positive properties of lycopene and its protective effect on the cardiovascular system; it reduces blood pressure, prevents the oxidation of LDL cholesterol, lipids, etc. This red carotenoid has a number of health effects resulting from its antioxidant effect.

In this study, the CROPWAT 8.0 model was used to calculate the water needs of maize crops in Jowhar. The United Nations Food Agriculture Organization's decision-support computer software, CROPWAT 8.0, is used to calculate ETo, effective rainfall, crop water need (ETc), and irrigation requirements. Climate, soil, and crop data were obtained using FAO CLIMATWAT 2.0. ETo was calculated as 4.75 mm per day on a yearly basis.

The genome availability for cichlid species of the subfamily Pseudocrenilabrinae, including Oreochromis niloticus can help develop robust molecular tools to address questions related to the conservation and management of O. niloticus in its invasive range and O. mossambicus in its natural range. Cowpea, Vigna unguiculata, has a prominent place in Senegal both for its nutritional benefits and for its suitability for adverse growing conditions.
