Background: Mechanical Neck Dysfunction (MND) affects about two thirds of people in middle age with common cause of bad posture in people who spent much of their working day at a desk with a bent-forward posture. Purpose: To compare the efficacy of kinesio taping versus phonphoresis on neck pain intensity, cervical ROM and neck disability in patients with MND. Design: pre - posttest experimental design Methods: 45 patients with MND participated in this study, their age ranged from 20-45 years.

Introduction: Nearly one million people commit suicide worldwide every year (i.e. one suicide every 40 seconds) compared to approximately 400000 suicides every year, a decade earlier. Suicide is among the ten leading causes of death for all ages in most of the countries (WHO). Deliberate self harm is often associated with Psychiatric disorders influencing morbidity and mortality. Objective: To study the demographic profile and other related details like psychiatric co morbidity of attempted suicides.

Coronary Artery Disease is one of the most important life threatening ailment in modern world. Single artery block ≥ 70% requires stent implantation for revascularization point of view. One hundred patients of single vessel coronary artery disease (SV-CAD) were underwent full medical treatment for one and half years in place of revascularization. They refused revascularization due to their financial constraint.

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between BMI and BP (SBP and DBP) among university students in Maiduguri, Nigeria. A sample of convenience was used to recruit participants for this study. Data on gender, height, weight, BMI and BP were obtained using a researcher-developed data form. Blood pressure, height and weight of the participants were measured using standardised procedures.

This study compared the management of eclampsia in University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) and State Specialist Hospital (SSH) Maiduguri respectively. The target populations were nurses and doctors working in the department of obstetrics and Gynecology in the two hospitals. An exploratory study design was adopted and convenience sampling method was used to select 100 nurses and doctors (50 from each hospital).

Background: Vitamin D deficiency is a risk factor for type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM). Both hypovitaminosis D and Type 2 DM are prevalent health problems among Saudi population. Ethnic and gender differences in the association between vitamin D status and type 2 DM were reported. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to determine vitamin D status in Saudi diabetic women as compared to that of age and BMI matched healthy women. Methods: A total of 120 women, 60 diabetic and 60 age and BMI matched control, were enrolled for this study.

Papanicolaou screening is the standard of care for detection of abnormal cervical cell. Cervical cells are susceptible to change as a result of hormonal exposure and this has the potential to affect cytologic interpretation. The purpose of this study was to examine the accuracy of cervical cytology finding in women using progesterone only contraception as compared to women who used no contraception. Material and methods- A total of 162 women were screened over a period of 3 years. Cytology and histology were done to find out sensitivity and specificity.

In humans, spleen is one of the largest and single secondary lymphoid organ with high vascularity. The spleen develops from the mesoderm and during its development, different lobules are formed, which fuses with each other later on which is indicated in the form of the lobulations in adult spleen that can be seen on the superior as well as on the inferior borders. The study was done in the department of Anatomy of DM- Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences, Meppadi, Kerala and Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore, Karnataka.
